Meet our Team

Dr. Arbabi has been named one of America’s top pediatricians by the Consumer’s Research Council of America. Dr. Arbabi is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Arbabi is an experienced and caring Pediatrician who has worked as attending physician of the pediatric emergency room of two hospitals as well as in the office setting.

Dr. Arbabi received her M.D. from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran in 1997 and completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics and Child Health at the Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Arbabi and her husband have three sons and live in Northern Virginia.

Dr. Tariq attended Dow Medical College in Pakistan, following which she completed pediatric residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois and subsequently moved to the DC area to be closer to family. She enjoys all aspects of pediatrics and has a penchant for preventive pediatrics and mental health. She is a strong believer in 'it takes a village to raise a child', and with a collaborative patient-parent-doctor relationship wants to ensure children flourish, are happy and healthy, and reach the maximum potential of growth and development.

Her interests outside of the practice include traveling with her husband and daughter and hosting dinners for friends and family. Dr. Tariq is bilingual and is fluent in English and Urdu.
